Since we're doing the whole queston thing... Usually, most players seem to be working towards the same goal and the submitted commands are pretty similar, so it doesn't really matter which one is picked. (Which is pretty cool. Go team!) But when they aren't... Has there ever been a command that you really wanted to do, but then the dice chose something different? And along the same line of thought, has there ever been a command you definitely didn't want to do, but the dice chose it anyway? When I created d20 Pony, I decided to use this roll-based system for commands to give everyone a fair chance, popular opinion or not. This way, no matter what choices are presented to the players, people are allowed to think outside the box. As for me, I think it's always interesting to see what players come up with. Since the name of the game is "choose your own adventure," virtually any idea can lead to progress towards a goal or another. Generally, I prefer commands that I can easily come up with a story for. It's happened a few times that I had a creative block over a command, simply because I had no idea in which direction to go with it. Keep it short and to the point, players!
