How can I open a server?

To host a multiplayer game, you must first have an open port. In the CREATE GAME menu, you can use the TEST PORT option to see if your computer is reachable from the Internet. If your port is closed, you will need to configure your firewall, router, modem and/or VPN to forward it. Because each device or software is different, I cannot assist you with this process. If your port is open, you can check the ONLINE option to add your server to the public list. This will allow your friends to join your server using the JOIN GAME menu's browser. Otherwise, they will need your external IP address and port to directly connect to your computer. Finally, selecting START will create your server. As soon as you enter the lobby, other players should be able to join your game (unless your port is closed, as previously specified). Your server will then stay online for as long as you are on it.
